.NET Web Services (MOC) Class Syllabus

Description:


This class will introduce you to Web Services in C#.

The topics include a discussion of UDDI, WSDL, SOAP, XSD, XML, creating web services from scratch, database access, XML presentation, managing data, caching, session information, exception handling, creating web service clients, proxy classes, accessing the Google web services, paying for web services, asynchronous web methods, authentication, and security.
This course is an overview of Microsoft Official Curriculum Course 2524 with several hands-on projects.

This is a hands on class. You will build several projects that incorporate your own as well as existing web services.

Prerequisites:
Programming experience in C#. Familiarity with ASP.NET will help with exercises but not required.
