Computer Based 3D Modeling of Structures - Finite Element Analysis
Class Syllabus
Description
This course covers the state of the art industry design tools used for analyzing and designing buildings. It shows the steps required for creating a structural model and includes examples that are commonly used for design of rigid bodies, concrete high rise structures, and various types of object based components and frames. It shows methods of input and output along with a series of evaluation techniques that are necessary for analyzing the generated computer models. It integrates best practices in creating an organized solution to complex problems, especially addressing higher level skills needed in designing and analyzing complex and irregular structures.
